Eddie Redmayne the star of The Theory of Everything beat Benedict Cumberbatch to win best actor at the Golden Globes. “It was a huge privilege, Stephen, Jane and the Hawking family allowed us into their lives to tell this story”. Redmayne praised Hawking for living passionately and fully with a great humour and said that portraying the scientist was one of the privileges of his life.
